1. Information We Collect

Personal Information: We collect information you provide directly to us during registration and profile creation. This includes your full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, and religious/lifestyle details.

Verification Data: For US citizenship verification, we collect the last 3 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN). These are encrypted immediately using AES-256 and stored securely. We do NOT store full SSNs.

2. Data Security & Storage

Your safety is our priority. We use industry-standard TLS encryption for all data in transit.

• Encryption at Rest: Sensitive identity markers are encrypted before hitting our database.
• Media Storage: Your photos and documents are stored in secure, private buckets on Cloudflare R2.
• Payment Info: We never store your credit card details; all payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to facilitate meaningful connections, enforce platform safety, and provide features like context-aware icebreakers. We do NOT sell your personal data to third-party advertisers.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the Settings panel. Deleted accounts are immediately hidden from the platform and fully purged from our primary databases within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal or safety investigations.
